Product Overview
The instrument adopts the principle of potentiometric titration for measurement. Dissolve the hydrogen sulfide free sample in sodium acetate isopropanol solvent, perform potentiometric titration with silver nitrate alcohol standard solution, use pH glass electrode as reference electrode, thiol sulfur electrode as indicator electrode, and the potential jump between the two electrodes indicates the titration endpoint. During the titration process, thiol sulfur precipitates as thiol silver.
This instrument is suitable for determining thiol sulfur in hydrogen sulfide free jet fuel, gasoline, kerosene, and light diesel. The determination of thiol sulfur is of great significance in evaluating the odor of jet fuel, gasoline, kerosene, and light diesel, the adverse effects on rubber components of fuel systems, and the corrosion of fuel systems.
